π Percentage increases in road tolls:
Netherlands β switching to per-kilometer tolling and eliminating the Eurovignette (starting in July 2026).
Austria β average toll increase: +7% (polluting vehicles: +6β9%, zero-emission vehicles: +1β2%).
Czech Republic β tolls up +2.5% on average.
Belgium (Wallonia) β average increase of +1.91% (e.g., for trucks over 32 metric tons: +1.57%).
Poland β road tolls +5.14% on average.
France β road tolls and tunnel fees increased by +0.86% (local examples and increases of +1.9% on certain highways).
Germany β no increases for zero-emission vehicles (exempt until 2031).
Denmark β bridge tolls +1.8% (Oresund) and +1.5% (Storebaelt).
Switzerland β completion of the transition to the 4G system.
Bulgaria
-Switch to payment in euros as of January 1, 2026;
-Introduction of a COβ component.
Romania
-The excise tax on diesel fuel will increase by +10% as of January 1, 2026.
-The per-kilometer toll has been postponed until July 1, 2026.
