Important for Transport Operators Using Vehicles over 3.5 Tonnes in Slovenia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from 1 November 2025<\/strong>, Slovenia\u2019s road tolling system will introduce an important change: for certain vehicles, road tolls will no longer be determined based on the Euro emission class<\/strong>, but rather on the CO\u2082 emission class<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new regulation applies to vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight of more than 3.5 tonnes, first registered after 1 July 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you need to know?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

DarsGO OBU users<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Vehicles equipped with a DarsGO OBU<\/strong> are automatically assigned to CO\u2082 emission class 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from 1 October 2025<\/strong>, you will be able to request that your vehicle be assigned to a higher CO\u2082 emission class, from 2 to 5<\/strong>, via the Slovenian road toll operator\u2019s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
